Fear's Flame

This project's story revolves around a person's fear. I served as the art director, helping the director design the overall artistic style. The director wanted a black-and-white comic style, so the entire story was kept with a minimal color palette.

Style Frame

For the style frames, we added hatching lines to mimic the style of Japanese manga. The red glow of the fire reflects on the protagonist's face, emphasizing his fear.

Background

I was mainly responsible for creating all the backgrounds. The interior backgrounds were designed to be dark to reflect the character's inner oppression, while the exterior was kept bright to create a strong contrast.
